Floating Lanterns Festival
The price includes:
- entrance fee of the park, visitor electric car which can take you to see the beauty of the flowers in the park,
- buffet dinner (foods and beverages),
- traditional and cultural performances,
- a chance to experience spectacular fireworks,
- a lantern and a banana Krathong plus variety of entertaining activities in the event and the transport service to the venue (subject to the price of the agent you contact).
Grand Highlight of the festival is that thousands of delegates will together make a wish and releasing thousands of lanterns into the sky of the full moon night amongst the clam and beautiful traditional music and performance. Whilst the thousands of sky lanterns will be released into the sky, fireworks are shooting up to lighten the full moon night, it is one of the life time opportunity for the guests to snap a memory with mobile phone camera or even better with the professional camera to keep your great and beautiful memory in the 2017 Chiang Mai Loy Krathong Yipeng festival with you forever.
Then once all the sky lanterns are illuminating in the sky, it is the high time to make a final wish together to conclude the memorable night by floating the banana-leaf krathong on large pawn of the royal park. This is another fine moment to grasp a shot or more to ensure your memorable experience last forever. The Royal Park Ratchapreuk is the largest park in the North of Thailand and one of the largest in the country. The park was built to host the 2006 International Horticultural Exhibition Exposition for His Majesty The King, Royal Flora Rachapruek Chiang Mai and its second time in 2011.
The venue is only 12 km from the city centre (15-minute drive) with a parking lot that can accommodate thousands of vehicles. The venue is fully furnished with the best security standard as it is the public space.
